15:00 - VAN ZELLER
"High-octane and driving" (Gigbook) garage inspired rock from Bristol. Despite having been around for less that 6 months, shows with bands such The Black Tambourines, The Magic Gang, Crushed Beaks and Get Inuit have led to high praise, including one fan describing them as 'actually not that bad' despite 'not liking music on the whole'.

17:00 - MOONBOW

Moonbow began in late 2013, when Reading-born/London-based multidisciplinary artist Eleanor Hardwick grew a desire to approach pop music with the same careful intention found within conceptual art. The concept of the collective project is to collaborate with an evolving line up of musicians and artists. Using a mixture of electronic hardware and organic sounds, the songs fuse trippy pop and transcendental soundtracks, whilst Moonbow's entrancing multimedia live shows and releases have been praised by magazines including i-D, The Line Of Best Fit, The 405, Rookiemag, Wire, Clash, The Guardian.

Eleanor is currently composing and producing a Moonbow release with guest musicians featuring on each track, performing live shows with guest musicians including Alice Go (Dream Wife, Twin//Venus) and Poppy Tibbetts (Boy With Wings).

18:00 - ESTHER JOY LANE

Oxford's Esther Joy Lane brand of dark, ambient electronica has had her paired with contemporaries Lykke Li and London Grammar. A low vocal register and sparse production style certainly bears out the mention, but there’s an even moodier depth being plunged in Esther’s music. Still at a very early stage in her career, the ripples have started to gain momentum and has seen her perform at Bestival plus receive BBC 6Music airplay.

19:00 - EDDIE PROVÉ

There must be something in the Berkshire water. The region just west of London has recently bestowed upon us the exciting talents of SG Lewis, Jack Garrett and Oh Wonder. And as 2016 gets underway, this trend seems set to continue with 23yr old Reading native Eddie Prové.

His music has been likened to James Blake, Jack Garrett, Sam Smith and One Republic – rather heady company, yet comparisons that suggest Eddie’s music has a wide and contemporary appeal. Co-written and produced with friend Frank Colucci (Brother, Love Life, Oh Wonder), Eddie’s debut EP blends introspective and emotive lyrics with delicate electronic production and pop melodies suggestive of his love for Motown.

Having put one track online in late 2015, Eddie has already been championed by his regional BBC Introducing team and the influential industry blog Killing Moon – who chose the song ‘Silent Love’ to feature on their New Moons V compilation series, out in January 2016.
