16:00 - Tracks and Grooves
Track and Grooves play eccentric, eclectic records out loud in Milk bar between the live acts.
16:15 - UBIK
UBIK is the sound of paintbrushes, chisels and creeping bedroom heartbreaks. Redecorate to an alien world. Drones are demolition, basslines and beats, blueprints for buildings.
Tired of your surroundings? Don’t move. Listen. Transformation beats travel agents. UBIK is never home.
17:00 - Moonbow
21 year old artists Eleanor Hardwick and Beau Hulse formed Moonbow in 2013 with the desire to approach pop music with the same careful intention found within conceptual art. Hardwick, based between Oxford and London, has worked in the visual arts from a young age, gaining attention from BBC Radio 4, The Independent, Dazed & Confused, The Guardian, Vogue, i-D and many more after she uploaded her work online as a teenager.
Meanwhile, Reading-Bristol based Hulse experimented in making music from childhood, and has always found a deep love in combining his passion for visual art with his various musical projects.
Using a mixture of electronic hardware and found organic instruments, the songs sit in a middle ground between trippy pop and transcendental soundtracks.
17:45 - Robyn Sherwell
Singer-songwriter Robyn Sherwell has been grabbed the attention of publications such as DIY, Clash, Q, Indie Shuffle, HillyDilly, Pigeons and Planes and NME Magazine, as well as the ear of BBC 6 Music's Lauren Laverne and Bella Union's Simon Raymonde (Amazing Radio & XFM DJ).
Robyn's been working with acclaimed producer David Kosten (Everything Everything, Bat For Lashes) on a debut album.
18:30 - Helghyer
Helghyer makes pretty music. Music that tells stories. Music that makes you want to walk barefoot through the woods with your hair billowing in the breeze. Music that makes you think that maybe, just maybe... magic really could exist.
19:15 - The August List
Hailing from Dorset and now residing in a small barn perched on a hill in Oxfordshire, The August List are a boy / girl two-piece who play ‘backwards country / porch folk’ with a startling rock ‘n’ roll attitude.
Acoustic guitars, kick drums, harmonicas and their voices are deployed with verve and passion on songs that take in life, love, death and making merry.
