Kid Kin is the musical moniker of Oxford based multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Peter Lloyd. Having released the epic Masterclash single in 2017, and the self-titled Kid Kin EP in November 2018, Kid Kin is gearing for a string of new releases in 2020, starting with new single Sprinter (featuring The Bobo on vocals), released in January 2020.

Inspired in equal measure by classic quiet/LOUD post-rock bands such as Mogwai and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, as well as the electro ambient and techno of the likes of Jon Hopkins, Four Tet and F*ck Buttons, Kid Kin explores the differences and commonalities in the musical structures of these sonic worlds. Chiming guitar lines and electronic ambience contrast beautifully with arpeggio heavy electronics.

Kid Kin has supported luminaries such as Ulrich Schnauss, Public Service Broadcasting, Haiku Salut, Three Trapped Tigers, and had support from BBC Oxford Introducing and Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music.

"This is soaring wide-screen cinematic Sigur Rós meets Public Service Broadcasting post-rock ambience of the highest order"
