Here Are The Young Men & Uncle Peanut spewed out of 1970’s British comics, the Public Information films that scared your bollocks off, Look-In magazine covers, Crass, Slowthai, The Streets, Sex Pistols & John Cooper Clarke. 

Their debut album Gimme Gimme Gimme Peanut Punk was released in 2015  to rapturous reviews from Artrocker and Monolith Cocktail; the second album This Is The Standard Life was released in late 2017 and boasted guest collaborations with Eddie Argos, Lenny Beige’s alter-ego & Billie Ray Martin smashing astounding reviews from the likes of Pop Bollocks

Xfm and Louder Than War picked up on the duo, and articles were written proclaiming them to soon be ‘everyone’s favourite band... possibly’. 

 The third album ‘Party Nibbles’ arrived down people’s chimneys on Christmas Eve 2019. 4th album already in progress….

 They have played a fistful of shows with Sleaford Mods and Art Brut, n opened for the likes of Wire, Bad Breeding, Blackwaters, Electric 6 & Evil Blizzard.
