Jack Robert Hardman cannot be pigeon-holed. Flowing from intricate acoustic guitar on debut single' Famous', to the reverb-swept 'Plymouth' (which became a hit on music blogs as far afield as the US, New Zealand and Italy), Jack’s unique sound always keeps listeners on their toes.

All these tracks can be found on his self-titled debut album, which has received support from Huw Stephens / Jen Long (RADIO 1), John Kennedy (XFM), Tom Robinson (6MUSIC), and Shell Zenner / Jim Gellatly / Bethan Elfyn (AMAZING RADIO). This release was followed with Jack performing a live session on XFM, and being named as one of 2013’s breakthrough artists in the Sunday Times Culture magazine by music luminary Simon Raymonde.

Now Jack is busy finishing material for a new EP, The Great Unknown. This four track follow up is due for release on May 19th 2014, and features a host of exciting guest performers.  It was recorded in part at the legendaryKonk Studios, and was mixed by Adrian Breakspear (Exit Calm) and mastered by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens / Midlake). The writing has matured, the themes are full of life, and the sound is as unique as ever.  Watch this space.

"A newcomer, the rising English artist has already honed his craft to an intimidating degree. As subtle as his touches are, the end result is devastating as new EP 'The Great Unknown' proves.”  - CLASH MUSIC

“His sound and writing have grown in range, and daring every time we’ve heard him” - Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
